I ejoy your quotes, I may not agree, or sometimes understand them, LOL, however they are very good chawing material. My favorite quote, however, was the one about using only one type of medium and ya totally "hogwashed" them and "hogwashed" them goooood!!! Like I say, the best quotes are those that make you think.

By the way, am amazed by the wonderful things you have been coming out w/...you a very talented woman.

I happen to find that titanium jewelry is far prettier than silver and even gold. Most people like titanium because it’s a more sturdy type of metal and lasts a lifetime. I like it for it’s looks and for it’s much fairer price. The cost of gold and silver has gone through the roof over the last two years. I’ve been buying nothing but mokume titanium inlay rings as a result lately.

Great post Lori. The world would be a better place if more people thought like that.

I once saw Dr. Richard Bandler, the c-creator of NLP, answer questions. One began "is it possible ..." to which he simply answered "yes" and moved on to the next.

That's the attitude to get out into the world.

Still luv'n those quotes you send out.....I went to a 4th of Juky event in my town and spoke to a few of the crafters there about what they thought about the need for business licenses and other things. Amazingly, I got differing answers. If I hadn't read your e-book and asked you questions I would definitely would have walked away very confused. People not knowing the correct answers can lead "newby's" down the wrong path. I am hoping moe people will purchase your e-book and be sure of what is necessary regarding licences, and other areas. As artists we all need to be more on board and knowledgeable....

There are so many places out there to sell glass and other crafts that it is hard to know where to start. A lot of people sell at www.etsy.com. I think I will check out the Anealer Auction Boutique.
Thanks for sharing!

I have learned that if you use sterling silver wire to make a bail in a fused glass jewelry piece that the sterling silver will turn brown during the fusing process.

Someone told me that fine silver works well for fusing. It doesn't change from the high heat. I am going to get some fine silver wire and give it a try.
